A 606-metre pedestrian suspension bridge over the Neckar valley, up to 60 metres above the ground.

The walkway is about 1.20 metres wide and links the old town with the Berner Feld. It opened in April 2026.

How do I get there without a car?

The approach on the old-town side is at the Bockshof by the town wall and can be reached on foot from Rottweil station. The town bus runs to the Berner Feld.

Where can I park, and does it cost anything?

At the Berner Feld the car parks P1 and P2 by the test tower, plus several car parks in the town centre.

When is it open, and is there a season?

Open all year. In bad weather the bridge may be closed.

Is it accessible?

Both approaches are designed to be step-free; the bridge is easy to cross with a pushchair or a wheelchair.

What is nearby that I could combine it with?

On the Berner Feld side stands the TK Elevator test tower, whose viewing platform is at 232 metres.

What does admission cost?

Adults about 13.50 €, children aged 6 to 14 about 11 €, under 6s free. Tickets online or on site.

Is it doable with a pushchair?

Yes, the bridge is easy to cross with a pushchair and both approaches are step-free.
