Weihnachtsmarkt am Hofgut Sternen

No ticket, no time slot. Right next to the sold-out Christmas market in the Ravenna Gorge, Hofgut Sternen opens a Christmas market of its own in 2026 – between its guesthouses, every day from 26 November to 20 December. You just drop by.

There is mulled wine and twinkling lights, and the best part: the illuminations of the Ravenna Christmas market are switched on every day. So you can see the glowing viaduct of the Höllental railway and the lit-up forest here even without a ticket for the big market – and even on the days it is closed.

Getting there

The market is at Hofgut Sternen, Höllsteig 76, 79874 Breitnau – in the Höllental on the B 31, where the Ravenna market begins too. Mind the parking: from Thursday to Sunday the big market runs at the same time, and its car park at the Hofgut is only available with a parking ticket booked in advance. The announcement doesn't say how this works for visitors of the Hofgut market. Monday to Wednesday is the most relaxed time to come.
